This is as close as you can get to a perfect, relaxing stay in Piedmonte. The house is beautiful and charming with magnificent views, Lucia and Bruno are friendly, welcoming and helpful. A great balance between professional B&B and friendly homestay. The house is in a secluded dead-end street, which means it is extremely quiet and undisturbed, with a large and serene garden. The only note of warning is the many cats that live on the property - if you don't like them, you can't really escape them. We, however, spent half our time cuddling with them, and they certainly added to the overall atmosphere. Highly, highly recommended place to stay!

After 6 weeks travelling around Italy, this was our final stay before heading home, we spent 3 nights here and it was absolutely magical. The house is set in the hills, peaceful and picturesque with stunning views. The house and gardens are dreamy and full of charm, I felt like i'd gone back into time. I found myself adoring each room as its decoration and attention to detail is just amazing. The house is home to a group of gorgeous and friendly cats, each with their own little personality and story, If you are cat lovers then this the place for you, we was in heaven getting cuddles everyday. This place ticked every box and then some, feeling like home from home, I was emotional and sad to leave. Now for the owners/hosts.....Lucia and Bruno's hospitality and kindness was above and beyond our expectations, helpful and generous is an understatement, we really was blown away. Lucia and Bruno are retired genetic scientists and world travelers, we could've listened to them speak for hours, so intelligent with fascinating stories, Lucia is one of the most interesting people I've ever met. This was our best stay in Italy full stop. Its a place we would like to come back to every year and would highly recommend to anyone staying in North Italy. Lots of wineries and cool towns a short drive away. This is a gem, and we felt very lucky and honored to have this experience and stay in their wonderful home. We miss you Lucia and Bruno....and the cats. Look forward to seeing you again very soon. A million thank yous. Xx Kamilla & David

Lucia is a wonderful host, sending us away with poetry books and picnic boxes full of home baked goodness. The accomodation is cosy, clean and comfortable. We felt like special guests and enjoyed exploring the gardens before our departure.

Lucia's home, gardens and rooms are very well looked after and we found the decoration beautiful. Amazing value for money, and great tips for exploring the surrounding area.

In 1976 I majored in Classic Studies (Greek, Latin and such), and I became a teacher in middle school. During my second pregnancy in 1981 I enrolled at Medical School and became a doctor in 1993, being an Ob&Gyn ultrasonographer and genetic counselor since. Just retired on Jan 1st, 2015, now offering the west part of my Piedmont "cascina" to guests. Having been an US resident for 7 years in NH, from 1997 to 2004, sadly affected by the Towers (! - my husband got the dust of them all over) I would like to share language and memories with English speaking people. On the other hand, my husband, also a retired Ob&Gyn doctor, speaks also French fluently - we are both very fond of Lourmarin, La Roque d'Anteron and Fontfroid Abbey, to list a few!
