Suzanne and Robert were very kind and greats hosts. The house is a quick 15 minute drive from the Cliffs of Moher, near Doolin. It's a great place to end a day of exploration. The room has a private entrance and private bathroom, comfortable bed and Suzanne made us breakfast to order in the morning. Oscar, their dog, is a sweatheart. We had a wonderful stay and was great to have Suzanne and Richard's company. Would stay again.

Robert and Suzanne not only have a great house close to the cliffs and the Burren, but also have a great personality and chilled vibes :) They have made us feel super welcomed and comfortable. Maybe even a bit jealous of their relaxed, full-Irish lifestyle. The breakfast was definitely a highlight, as well as Oscar, the family dog. Thanks a lot, Suzanne!

We had 3 nights with Suzanne & Robert in September 2016. The accommodation was as described being comfortable & well appointed. Suzanne prepared an excellent breakfast each morning providing fruit, cereals, toast, jams, tea/coffee as well as a cooked element. Both were willing to provide good current advice on local sights, restaurants and music venues. Thanks to Suzanne & Robert we had a very enjoyable stay in the Burren.

Suzanne and Robert were incredible hosts. Robert's attention to detail in the completion of their home, including fine woodwork and carving, as well as Suzanne's warm interior decoration, made for a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed listening to Robert play traditional music on the accordion in local pubs. Suzanne made many great suggestions of things to do locally, including hikes, being a hiker herself. Her breakfasts were out of this world!

Suzanne and Robert were very welcoming and always in a good mood, it was very pleasant staying with them! Their house is beautiful, Oscar the dog is lovely, and it is very nice to see the cat and the sheep around the house. The bedroom is very clean and quiet. Suzanne was preparing delicious breakfasts. I wished I could have stayed there longer! The house is very well situated, with plenty of things to see and visit around, and good restaurants close by. Suzanne was perfect for helping to choose beautiful walks according to the weather and what I was able to do. Thanks for a very, very nice stay Suzanne and Robert (and Oscar)!

The room and bath were as described. Nicely decorated and comfortable. There were goats and a friendly dog & cat. Suzanne and Robert were friendly and interesting. Plus, suzanne made us a wonderful breakfast! It is a little out of the way and we were reluctant to go out at night because of the narrow lanes and lack of markings on the roads (in addition to being accustomed to left-hand driving on the right side of the road). But being of the beaten path had it's benefits too. Lovely area.

We realy loved our stay at Suzanne and Robert. Three times Suzanne made us a really excellent breakfast. She also gave us black and white pudding to try, we loved it! We also got great tips about possible activities in the area. All in all lovely people. If you have the chance, get some dinner or guinness at the Kilshanny House!

Suzanne User ProfileSuzanne is a superhost.

Suzanne, native of the Burren, is a Footcare Practitioner, an avid walker and cyclist and would be happy to give directions for the best walks in the area. She is a keen reader and loves to cook.

Robert plays Traditional Irish Music on the button accordion and is often out playing at informal sessions, and can advise guests where the best music will be on any night. He is a keen woodworker, his work is showcased in the house and in the O'Connor's Ice Cream Parlour in Ennistymon which Robert & Suzanne ran as a gift & home accessories shop until recently.

Suzanne and Robert have a great knowledge of the local flora and fauna. They keep Zwartbles sheep on the two acres around the house, watching them from the conservatory is a treat in itself.

Suzanne and Robert will help make the most of your holiday, whether you want to be active or just relax in and around our beautiful home.
