Step into another world as you open the door to my absolutely beautiful home. Among the tree-lined streets of south Dublin, this designer has curated a homey heaven filled with treasures and heirlooms. The interior is simply full of character and original features, including a claw foot cast iron bathtub, period fireplaces, to the 6ft canopy master bed swathed in Silk.

The feeling of absolute comfort and relaxation and being "at home" is what is truly unique about this period terraced house. There are 4 bedrooms, one has a super king size bed another a king size bed and the other 2 have queen size, the house is full of character, beautifully decorated giving the overall feel of opulence, and comfort, accommodating 8 people, having been restored by its owner, a well known interior designer.
The property is full of wonderful details, like the 6 ft clawfoot cast iron bath, for that leisurely soak, or the restaurant quality range cooker set amongst the traditional style handmade kitchen, full of all the modern conveniences you would expect to whip up either a quick snack or a gourmet meal.

There are 3 reception areas; the main drawing room, has a 5 seater pink velvet couch and working open fireplace, connecting through to the dining room which features a wonderful antique mahogany dining table with seating for 8; double doors leading out to an outdoor terrace the centrepiece of which has a wonderful antique candle-lit wrought iron chandelier, along with wall sconced candle lighting.

The fully equipped kitchen has a center island for cooking and dining and also has a seating area with armchairs, flanked with wool mohair blankets and a wood burning stove, for those chilly evenings, a side door to the winter terrace, and double doors leading onto the summer terrace.

The terracotta and marble floor tiling in the outdoor terrace are the original tiles from the kitchen when the house was built.

Meanwhile the summer terrace, surrounded with climbers and roses has a barbecue, fountain, lighting, garden loungers and garden table with 4 chairs perfect to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the south-west evening sun (and a large umbrella).

The romantic master bedroom has a 6 ft canopy bed and runs the entire width of the front of the house.
All bedrooms have feather pillows and duvets, and all bed are dressed in 100% high thread count cotton bed clothes.
The main bathroom has the bath and an electric shower which is typically Irish low pressure but the top floor shower in the attic is a power shower .
The house comes to life when its full of people and has a wonderful atmosphere, especially at Christmas time.
The house is ideal for a fun Weekend in Dublin, Relaxing with Friends & Family, A business trip, A family Celebration, A Special Occasion, or indeed a small intimate Wedding to remember.

The entire house is for your enjoyment with WiFi, Cable Television, Netflix & on-street parking.
Dublin Bus is within 3 minutes walking distance which will situate you in the city centre within 15 minutes.

The laundry room sits at the end of the garden (attached to the summer house) with both washing machine and dryer. Guests staying for 4 or more night are welcome to use the laundry facilities, or by special arrangement .

I stay in the summer house at the rear of the propertywith my 2 girls Prue and Poppy (canine girls), I can be available as required or ... not at all, whichever you prefer, this is your holiday after all :-).

My work: Interior Design Consultant
Lives in Dublin, Ireland
Hi ! I am a scorpio !!! need I say any more! By nature I am artistic, I love Colour, Fabrics and Antiques. My passion is houses, especially decorating them , and reddecorating them, I always seem have a plan of some sort hatching :-) SO I am very lucky that my passion is also my job. I am an interior designer, and run my own business. Before I began my interior design carreer, I was a fashion designer, I guess design is a bit of an obsession with me too. So I am delighted to share my lovely home with my guests allowing them to enjoy it as I do. My other love is socialising which is an umbrella for travelling, eating out and good wine :-). I enjoy keeping fit at the local gym, and walking up the mountains nearly every day.I could live on seafood and dark chocolate. I try to "Live Now" . Looking forward to meeting all my new guests
