Cove_shack is newly renovated 1957 shack with a big history of holiday memories an interior that has a contemporary feel of a summer house filled with found treasures form all parts of Tasmania. Created with much love a dream come true.
Being a light and open plan space, it is perfect for a couple or couples travelling together.

The space
Contemporary modern kitchen that would suit any budding chef induction cook top and dishwasher.

The shack includes two bedrooms.
One larger bedroom with queen bed all with natural fibres, all bedding is high Quality linen and cotton.
Garden views with it’s own access to a toilet and hand basin.

The second bedroom has a queen bed with water views and garden.

. When booking please make it clear that if you require the 2nd bedroom as it has its own keybox.

If 2nd bedroom is used with only 2 people there will be an extra $35 charge for cleaning & linen.
Or book for 4 guest and need sofa bed.

The whole interior is freshly painted and furnished with unique and up cycled items,
One bathroom with toilet also separate toilet, laundry equipped with front load washing machine large cupboard for your personal items

All linen and towels are supplied.

A fully equipped contemporary kitchen induction stove top with everything you need. Tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt& pepper is provided and we also have a Coffee plunger for the coffee lovers to enjoy with freshly grounded coffee.

Cove_shack is just a 10minute walk to downtown St Helen’s many cafe’s, providore’s, general store, local pub, restaurants and IGA supermarket.
It is a 5 minute drive to
St Helen’s mountain bike trails world class.
Bay Fire’s,
Lease 63 Fresh oysters, Priory Ridge winery and beautiful Binalong Bay.
And one of the best coastal drives in Australia on the east coast of Tasmania all at your door step when staying. This is just few of the great things to do while in St Helen’s

There is an abundance of bird life that visit Cove_Shack.
Guest access
Access is via a key box located at the property. Code will be sent prior to arrival.
As we use Cove_ shack for ourselves and our family, we provide a Bose sound speaker you can Bluetooth to your phone, also a TV with great reception, you can hot spot from you phone. Netflix etc
Front deck with pergola relax watch sunrise and the abundance of birdlife on the Cove and in the garden.
The pergola is just perfect provide’s shade and sun throughout the day.

Back covered deck with comfortable couch and bar area to enjoy morning sun also afternoon sun with water views.
Webber barbecue provided.
The garden has fruit trees so look around when in season.
New split system for heating and cooling .
Wood fire for the cooler nights

Fire wood is provided for evening fire from the 1st of May through to the end of October. The general store and service stations have wood for sale or you bring your own.

There is room for two cars and boat - for off street parking

We like to watch water usage so please be respectful.

We have a booklet of information in the bottom kitchen drawer which may be useful to flick through after settling in, including local maps and bush walking guides etc.

We have 4 children, 8 grandchildren. We have been working at Cradle Mountain the past seven years. Past year I renovating an old shack.

We love travelling Australia and overseas. Our best trips have been on the back of my husbands BMW - we travelled 25,260km around Australia!

My family loves getting together for great food and great coffee, and just hanging out. We love all things vintage like VW Spiltties and our 1955 caravan.

The best thing about travel is meeting people, new cities, places and making new friends. We love the North West Coast and the East Coast of Tasmania can advise on the best things to do and see in our local area. We'll help make your trip more enjoyable, and can even tell you where to go for the best coffee, wine and food.

We'd love to share our piece of heaven on the north west coast Ulverstone and now east coast StHelens.
