Our guest house is the refurbished 1903 Mook General Store. 100 years ago Mook was a bustling crossroads village. Today it is a unique isolated family farm and peacock sanctuary. See Mook Farm on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN).

I was born and reared at Mook Farm. I graduated from the University of Louisville, and attended law school before being drafted into the army. I"m a Vietnam Veteran. I have some postgraduate studies in history--Late Antiquity of the Eastern Roman Empire and it's relationship with medieval Europe. I'm a retired farmer, and spend most days in the Farm's 250 acres of woodlands.
My lovely wife Hildegarde is a computer wizard, gourmet cook, Rock-n-Roll enthusiasts and historian. She is fluent in Spanish, and can converse in most Romance languages.
When I mow the grass or bushhog the farm, I worry about the flora and fauna I disrupt--verging on Buddhaism? I believe in peace and venerate Lhamo Dondrub. I expect that people be ethical.
