If your looking for the perfect little camp site with a idyllic "glamping" hut that offers the serenity of camping with the luxury and comfort of a great hotel room, Hilda the shepherds hut at Wardley Hill camp site is your answer. Lovely countryside and broads at your front door and the awesome coast line only 30 mins away. We will be back for sure!

We had a great stay at Wardley Hill; Hilda was just as described and had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. It's an idyllic setting and it was lovely to sit outside of an evening, with a BBQ and camp fire roaring away. Having your own toilet is a real bonus, (especially when it's raining!) although would recommend you take a head torch for any night time trips! Bungay has some great local amenities - nice pubs, shops and a greengrocer/delicatessen etc. so you don't need to venture too far afield to get everything you need. Joe had lots of recommendations for the local area - including Covehithe, where there is a beautiful beach - would definitely recommend a visit. Thanks for a great stay!

Joe was very welcoming and accommodating after our delayed arrival time. The calmness of Wardley Hill instantly takes away the strains of driving in holiday traffic. Hilda, the Shepherd's Hut, is a beautiful place to stay and the photographs do not do either her or the campsite justice. Nestled amongst the long grasses and wild flowers it is a magical place to be. We made full use of all of the provided additions in Hilda- camp stove, burner, kettle, crockery, cutlery, Buckaroo, 'Boys Book to Mischief' and the tea and biscuits! Oh and the recommended pizza place 'Suffolk Stonehouse' shouldn't be missed. Beccles Lido is only a short car ride away too. What we loved most was sitting on the steps of Hilda with the burner warming our backs as we star gazed and watched the bats playing in the night sky. A wonderful place to escape with two children (13 and 12) for a short while.

Only good things to say about this place: it was the best campsite we ever stayed it and we wished we could have stayed longer. We spent a long weekend in the hut with our baby. The trailer is absolutely cosy, clean, comfortable and even big enough to fit a travel cot. The entire campsite was just spotless and the host very lovely. Highly recommended for families with small kids or babies

Wardley Hill Campsite is a new ecological campsite in the Waveney Valley. Wild flowers and grass are left to grow to encourage butterflies and bees, although there is still plenty of space to throw a frisbee or perhaps have a game of rounders.

Our six-acre site has some woodland, three ponds, a stream and a spring. Our car free camping field is exclusively for tents while campervans are also welcome to stay with us in a separate area.

Our facilities on site offer an authentic back-to-basics camping experience with clean composting toilets for guests to use. Campfires are encouraged and dogs on leads welcome.

We would like you to be able to camp how you want, choose where ever you want to pitch your tent and have a peaceful stay.
