Dolmen Lodge makes the perfect holiday accommodation for your stay in Ballyvaughan in the heart of the Burren. Commanding spectacular views of Galway Bay and the Burren landscape. This area of unspoiled beauty offers a myriad of activities and attractions and is ideal for waliking, cycling or hiking.
There is a safe sandy beach just 2km from the apartment.
The apartment is located on the village Wood Loop, which is a designated pedestrian walk through the Burren and passing by Aillwee Cave.
The space
The apartment is part of our main house with its own separate private entrance. There is a paved patio with a south-facing aspect and beautiful views all around.
It contains a spacious en-suite bedroom with 1 double and 1 single bed.
There is a fully fitted kitchen/living/dining area with its own separate bathroom. Free Wifi is available.There is a sofa bed in the living room. Max number of Guests is 4. There is also free private parking.

The bedroom overlooks a colourful garden shrubbery and a beautiful tree-lined driveway. The living/dining area looks south to the Burren mountains.

The apartment is only a short stroll from the village of Ballyvaughan. It is a picturesque location on the Wild Atlantic Way, overlooking Galway Bay and adjacent to Ailwee Cave.
It is a short drive to the Cliffs of Moher and there are daily sailings to the Aran Islands from nearby Doolin. There are two beaches nearby. Both Galway City and Shannon Airport can be reached within an hour.
