The Metta-terre One is our newest in our collection of Metta homes: fully shoppable short term rentals! ! This quaint cozy studio (pied-a-terre: a small living unit located in the city some distance from an individual's primary residence.) Everything one guest (or a couple) might need for a stay in Richmond's Fan district. There is seating to relax and watch tv, WFH or grab a bite, a small bathroom with many amenities to help lessen what you will need to pack as well as organic and vegan towels, and a comfortable organic queen sized bed with organic bedding, (if you like any of these things you can buy them!). A tiny kitchen and a large closet.

In the kitchen, you should find everything you need. Filtered water can be found inside the fridge. If coffee is your morning go juice there is a coffee bar with all the fixings: we have our own beans roasted by a local roaster (Lamplighter Coffee Roasters), grinder, coffee maker, filters, creamer and several different sweetener options.

We want you to feel that your every need has been considered and comfort knowing that you have a clean & well sanitized home for your stay. The extra steps we are taking to clean and sanitize: was and sanitize all bedding and towels, wiping down ALL common touch points.

We are in walking distance to soooo much! An easy walk to the museum district and the VMFA, Carytown, and the trendy micro brew haven Scott's Addition. Have a pup that you cant leave at home? Please message me for inquiries, as extra fees will apply. It's perfect if you are looking for a quaint place located in a calm walkable neighborhood!

My husband Eric and I enjoy traveling. I travel the world for a living and sneak in family trips from the rewards of the many miles I travel. I am in product development for home decor products and Eric works at a law firm. We love to collect things from our travels to incorporate them into our home. When not traveling we spend a lot of time on the back porch planning our next adventure, walking the neighborhood discovering the parks, gardens, architecture and enjoying the various restaurants in Church Hill. Sometimes we make it off the hill to explore other cool areas of Richmond like Jackson Ward, the Fan, and Scott's Addition to name a few. We thought it would be nice to share our little nugget of history in this historical, hip, and diverse neighborhood we live in by opening our home to fellow travelers. We hope that you enjoy your stay and love this home as much as we do!
