This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Perched on the side of a cliff with a spectacular view of the mountains of the Cumberland Plateau and Sequatchie Valley, Cliffside is a unique Scandinavian-style property. Enjoy coffee in front of the large picture windows in the great room, sunset on the large deck, unwind around the smokeless firepit, or picnic at the common area of the neighborhood lake. Located on Dayton Mountain near many hiking trails, it is only a 20-minute drive to Dayton.

The space
Cliffside, a 315-sq.ft. tiny bungalow located on a dead-end street, accommodates up to 2 adult guests with a Queen bed in the bedroom, sleeper sofa and dining table/chairs in the vaulted great room, 1 bathroom, kitchenette with small fridge and microwave, high-speed Wi-fi, and large wraparound deck with a dining table, firepit, and propane Weber grill. A smart TV is located in the bedroom and board games are available, including National Parks Monopoly. Complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, breakfast, and snack items are available, as well as a towels, bedding, iron and ironing board, lap desk, hair dryer, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner in a dispenser in the shower, and other toiletries in the medicine cabinet. Parking includes space for a trailer.

The bungalow is located on the edge of the bluff, with the deck extending 12 feet over the edge. The area surrounding the deck is very steep and slippery with loose rocks and, therefore, not suitable for children or pets.

ABC Mountain View Estates is a quiet neighborhood comprised of primarily retirees and vacation cottages. As our guest, you may picnic by or fish in the 13-acre lake one street over from the bungalow. A Lake Permit is located in the back of this information booklet. Please carry it with you when you visit the lake and return it for future guests. Since our streets have little traffic, the neighborhood is walker friendly. Enjoy the tree-lined streets, lake and horse pasture. Quiet time begins at 10:00 pm Eastern/9:00 pm Central.
