Large second floor apartment with sea and village views, free wifi, parking, TV, Aircon, double and two single beds. Ensuite toilet and shower, fully equipped kitchen with oven, fridge and utensils, sharing a large terrace with one other apartment.
Built about twenty years ago, Aposperitis rooms are well-established and surrounded by bougainvillea and olive trees. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Kiniand accessed by a narrow road, each room is decorated in a unique style, with many tradional Greek features. There are several attractive and shady outside spaces, where you can meet fellow guests, but each room or apartment also has its own private terrace. Free WiFi is available all around the building.
These well-appointed and interestingly decorated rooms each have a double bed and two single beds, a well-equipped small kitchen with an oven, Fridge, TV, air-conditioning/heating, en-suite showers and toilets, solar-powered hot water and daily room service. There is a large secure parking area, if you have a car or bike.
Interaction with guests
The friendly resident owner will welcome you to his rooms, which he looks after personally. He is often around to share a coffee or glass of wine with you - sometimes, if he has caught fish, he may cook for you in the barbecue area, which has comfortable seating and is set amidst mediterranean flowers and herbs. Many visitors make return trips and have now become friends. Antonis, his wife and Flora; the manager, can help you get the most out of your stay, by advising you about things to do on Syros and helping to arrange car hire, boat trips and walks.
Other things to note
Syros is reached by international flight to Athens or Mykonos. It also has a small airport with a flight from Athens on most days. There are daily ferries to and from Mykonos - one hour or from Pireaus - 4 hours. We think you will agree that the unspoiled areas of Syros are worth the extra journey time. We will meet you at the port or airport if you tell us when you are arriving, at no extra cost.
We would like everyone to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Aposperitis, while having a good holiday and we would ask you all to be respectful of fellow guests.
i like to enjoy and appreciate evry day. It's the simple things that count - to go fishing, swim, enjoy the company of friends. I have a small boat and explore the coast when it's calm. Now I'm retired from my day job.; I was a tiler and you will see many examples of my work in my apartments and around Syros, I like to do things with my hands - restore furniture, plant flowers and best of all to cook on the barbecue, food that I can share with friends. The best evenings finish with music and dancing.
