The space
Light filled, spacious studio, charmingly decorated with a mix of contemporary, antiques & octopus whimsy. Perfect for a couple. King bed or 2 XL twin beds, your choice.
In the suite is our detailed notebook for our guests featuring our favorite local restaurants and specialities, best hiking trails, suggestions for full and half day adventures and other fun activities. Feel free to use the beach towels and chairs provided for your day adventures.
After a busy day exploring the coast, you'll love returning to OCTOPUS SUITE to relax by the fireplace and 50" TV. Full kitchen, waterfall shower head, tub; gorgeous tree-filled garden views and glimpses of glorious sunrises.

Brookings is a delightfully small fishing and lumber town. OCTOPUS SUITE is in a quiet, safe and peaceful residential neighborhood overlooking the Pacific Ocean. You can often hear seals and the harbor buoys. During the day you usually see and hear osprey, gulls and oyster catchers; at night you can hear an occasional owl. Near Chetco River; the "Chetco Effect" means warmest summer climate on the coast!
