Our Lazy Hog Inn will transport you back to the Wild, Wild West with it's attractive western decor and extraordinary chef's kitchen. The house is charming and comfortable with lots of room. The front deck has a porch swing, perfect for early morning reflection or enjoy the peaceful ambiance with a good book. R & G Land and Cattle is a working cattle ranch, with a horse training facility and an olive oil producing farm. We are located in Paicines, California, 20 miles South of Hollister. You will experience peace and quiet as you visit our llamas, alpacas, donkeys, horses, chickens, miniature horse, sheep, flock of peacocks, and our busy border collies, Ringo and Ranger. We have a selection of housing, all of which are beautifully designed with your comfort in mind. Groups can stay in Angel's Bunkhouse, which sleeps 15, complete with comfy beds, a game room and sitting room with musical instruments and books close at hand. If you prefer more privacy, stay at our Tumbleweed Hotel, with designer appointments or try the Shangri La, a cozy 2-bedroom complex, decorated from the owners' worldwide travels and offers a quiet sitting room for reading or mediation. Or stay in the Love Nest with a 'Gone with the Wind' theme and intimate accommodations. We have quiet areas for discussions, and rooms conducive for seminars or think tanks. Guests will have access to our tennis and basketball courts, ping pong, barbecue pit, game room w/pool table and air hockey and hiking trails in the hills. There's a great walking/running loop around the flat part of the property with beautiful views. We have a Farm Stand on site, featuring our award winning olive oil and other ranch related products. There is always someone on site to greet you and help you in any way we can to make your stay with us excellent in every way. We can recommend area restaurants and points of interest. A popular spot is the hiking trails and rock climbing at Pinnacles National Park, just 10 miles South of our ranch.
