Some info has been automatically translated.
This hand crafted Tree House is nestled in a tranquil oasis of trees and ferns and is an ideal getaway to wind down, connect with nature and recharge your batteries. You can curl up by the fire and read a book or enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony. And if you’re feeling adventurous the picturesque Lough Allua is less than 5km away offering fishing and kayaking, and this area of natural beauty is perfect for cycling and hill walking with many official signposted routes.

The space
The cabin is small but bright and airy with tall ceiling and large windows. It can comfortably accommodate 2 adults (with an option for an extra guest sleeping on the sofa-bed- please note the treehouse is not suitable for children under 12 or people with reduced mobility). The bathroom features shower, flushing toilet and hand basin with hot water provided from an 80L electric water heater. The bathroom is located under the mezzanine (note headroom is 195 cm). The kitchenette has a mini-fridge, electric kettle, toaster, nespresso pod coffee machine, 2 ring electric hob and a microwave. The sleeping area is located in the mezzanine accessible by a ladder (height to apex is 160cm, so you will not be able to stand) but if you don't feel like climbing stairs you can use the sofa-bed instead. The cabin is heated by a small wood burning stove.
The treehouse has been built using locally sourced or reclaimed materials. It's set on an organic farm and there are friendly donkeys, horses, cats and dogs living on the farm.
***Please note the property is accessed via a narrow lane not suitable for large vehicles. If you plan to arrive in a large van/campervan please contact us to discuss prior to booking***
***Please note the mobile coverage is very poor in the cabin and wifi can be connected by special request only and is not suitable for streaming***
***You might encounter midgies or mosquitoes in the evenings***
*** This is a rustic place, not a luxury resort! It offers comfort in a remote rural location with nearest shop 15min drive and nearest pub 5min drive.

Other things to note
There is a welcome basket with porridge oats, jam, tea, coffee and snacks and you will find milk and butter in the fridge. Free range eggs are available for sale on the farm.
