Shred the slopes on a powder day or layout and work on your tan at Ski Beach Park, then return home for evenings in front of the fireplace, homemade meals, and relaxation time in the private hot tub.

The community fee is the transient occupancy tax that the city charges.

• Linens, towels, spa towels are provided.

• High speed internet (200mbps/download),

• Our bathroom has all the necessities; shower, sink, and toilet.

• Kitchen includes pots and pans, bakeware, silverware, microwave. This is our home so we leave some dry ingredients in our cabinet, please help yourself if needed.

• Laundry machine & dryer is available for use.

• There is NO central air conditioning (A/C), like many Big Bear homes.

• Central heating available in the house.

Big Bear Lake has strict noise and occupancy rules. If noise complaints or other code violations are called in, Code Compliance officers have the power to evict renters at their discretion without refund.
Violations may result in full party eviction. The house entrances are monitored by cameras.

They are as follows:

1) All music must be kept at a level that cannot be heard past the fence line.

2)Hot tub use is off limits between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

3) Per city ordinance, parking at the home is limited to 2 cars.

4) Per city ordinance, this home will comfortably accommodate a maximum of up to 6 guests.

Unfortunately, these are city ordinances that I have no control over. If we are cited for non-compliance, you (the Guest) will be fined up to $1,500.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking and during the check in and a good neighbor form is required to be signed by the city to make sure there isn’t a party.

The hot tub cover is currently deteriorating. We have a new one ordered in back order. The hot tub still works efficiently.

If you've never been to Big Bear Lake, it has a "mountain community" feel with all of the creature comforts that you find in the "flatland".

The Big Bear Village offers quaint family owned businesses, as well as some amazing restaurants that will entice our tastebuds. From fine dining to cafes offering the best flapjacks and bisquits & Gravy west of the Mississippi River, you'll want for nothing while staying at the Summit House.

Growing up Big Bear has always been one of my favorite places to come up for snowboarding trips in the winter, going to the lake and mountain biking during the other seasons.
