Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

The space
Living inside The Beara Bus is quirky, fun, relaxing and luxurious. Being a Bus , ceiling height is restricted to about 1.8m and the curved staircase is fairly steep. But the comfortable lounge, TV space ( Wifi,Netflix, PS4) great shower and King size bed with pure cotton bedding upstairs and the well appointed kitchen, dining area and pub style snug downstairs make it a perfect stay. The outside infinity decking and BBQ are really the 'icing on the cake'.

Guest access
There is ample parking and the private road leading to the Bus is secured. CCTV cameras monitor and record any unauthorized activity.

Other things to note
My wife , Lorna, owns and runs The Tea Rooms in nearby Castletownbere where customers can enjoy a wide selection of freshly baked cakes as well as a fabulous variety of savoury foods.
We have compiled a Beara Bus menu of a selection of treats and dishes which will be available for you to enjoy in The Bus during your stay. The menu will be published on this site by the 10th May. In the meantime, if interested, please contact me.
