This beautiful house in the heart of downtown Reykjavík is admired by many walking by. Its decor outside and inside has an old classical style with a lot of character and charm to it.

The location is great, few steps away from the main shopping street, with its good selection of cafés, bars, restaurants, music venues and shops. Hallgrímskirkja church is just few minutes walking distance away, a swimming pool and a grocery shop few steps away.

It is perfect for a solo traveller or a couple.

The space
The apartment is perfect for a single person, a couple, or two friends traveling or staying together for some time in Reykjavik. It contains everything you need after a day exploring Iceland or just to hang around.
It has a Flat-screen TV with Netflix and free WiFi. The kitchen is equipped with a great set to cook, a gas stove with 6 heaters, a double oven, a fridge, a beverage fridge as well, a freezer with ice machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, water heater, toaster, spices etc. A bathroom with a shower. Beds are made up and towels provided.

This is an old style wooden house, so taking my neighbours in the house into account, it is not available for rent to people with children. People planning to party inside not as well.

Few houses away are some great restaurants and shops. On the same street you will find Gandhi, an awesome Indian restaurant, a barber shop and a place to buy fresh fish to cook at home. Three houses away is "Kramhúsið" a dance & Yoga studio. Few steps away is Krónan, a low budged grocery store, a vegan restaurant "Garðurinn" (the garden) where they always have the dish of the day and their awesome healthy pastries and deserts. Many more shops and nightclubs are very close by but still the apartment is not bothered by its noice.
