Taste the lifestyle of the average Thai village resident. Close to KMUTT and only around 100 baht by taxi or next to nothing by bus to get to Wong Wian Yai BTS station.

Big was such a wonderful host. upon arrival in Bangkok he assisted the taxi driver on where to go (even though I arrived at midnight, he waited up for me). My room was comfortable and cosy, and the street was quiet and residential. Just a 3 minute walk from the house was a buzzing market with awesome food and public transport connections to central Bangkok. it took me about 2 hours to get to kaosan road by bus, but by taxi just half an hour for just over 100tbh. it was my second time in Bangkok and it was great to live in a real Thai home, I felt more of a local living here and I would definitely recommend Big's home for a short stay. I lost my wallet on the second day and Big even rang around the bus companies trying to help me find it. Of course it was impossible but he was so kind and helpful. thank you Big! xxx

Big is a great host and very kind-hearted.His mango tree house is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It is a little far from downtown, but using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Map App could solve all the problems. It's good choice if you want to get into the local life of Thailand.

Big was great but unfortunately his place didn't meet my expectations in terms of cleanliness. The house was quite dirty and the bathroom was full of... mosquitos. Also I didn't realise how far from the center his house is (this is my fault, not Big's) and I spent lots of time commuting back and forth to the city. Not a very bad experience overall, but I wouldn't come back.

Siriwat picked me up near MRT station and showed me how to get around using buses, etc. It's really nice neighborhood with a 5 min walk to a market and some big supermarkets nearby, but fairly remote if you need to go the center much. Townhouse where the house is located is also a very nice, calm and relaxed place. Siriwat also showed me around some nice areas and places in Bangkok, which was pretty nice. He is a very good host as well.

You plan on going to lively Bangkok and want to get to know the locals? Stay at Siriwat's! It was wonderful. He did and does so much more than just offering a bed to sleep. Siriwat helped us with our luggage days before we even came to his house. Showing us around in Bangkok on his day off, joining us for food and drinks, helping us with everything that came up and being always available for answering urgent question. All that and, of course, that fact that he always had a friendly smile on this face made him a wonderful host. Again, thanks a lot . We would always stay with him again.
