The central city is a very pleasant short walk beside the Whanganui river.

Interaction with guests
Interaction is as much or as little as the guest prefers.
Your stay is about you and your preferences.
Other things to note
There is off street parking for you, in front of the left hand garage.
Apologies, we cannot accommodate small children as a third guest, two people in total is capacity for us.
Although we have a couple of pets, animals have never been in the upstairs Airbnb rooms, just in case anyone is sensitive to animals.
If you don't mind, outdoor shoes can be left at the bottom of the stairs. We have lovely, sumptuous new carpeting, which will feel lovely on your feet or indoor slippers :-)
Happy Kiwi who loves to travel, especially over the equator to the fabulous European continent.
Also very happy to be hosting guests through Airbnb - it's a pleasure to be meeting such lovely people and trying to make them comfortable while passing through our corner of the world.
We have a great city location - being close to the central city, but our street looks and feels rural. It's a very pleasant walk into the city, along a tree lined street and beside the major river - the gateway to the Whanganui National Park.
Wanganui is a lovely city - it's very green and leafy with great geography, including river and sea landscapes.
It's also well sited as a great gateway to the Central Plateau, Taranaki and Egmont National Park, and is just a 2.5 hour drive to Wellington.
