1946 Comfort Retreat is located on the Northeast side of Helper. We have a beautiful yard with fruit trees and outdoor furniture for relaxing. In the evening the deer come in for a snack from the apple trees. The house offers 2 bedrooms and a spacious living room. The dining table seats 6 and the air conditioning keeps your cool in the summer months and heats comfortably with a gas furnace. There is room in the driveway for three cars and an alley to park toy haulers or camping trailers.

The space
The view from the back yard is wonderful. You can see Balanced Rock perched on the bluff to the north. We are located in a very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and quiet nights. Helper has been designated as a Dark Sky Area. The stars at night are more than amazing.

We have a small studio apartment in the basement that we stay in when we come to town. We do not need to enter the upstairs part of the house to enter the apartment.

Where you’ll be

Helper, Utah, United States

Helper has an amazing history. From 2000 year old Indian art to a century and a half of mining. The town has been re-established as an artist community. Main Street is lined with galleries and shops to enjoy for hours. Our favorite is the Bug and Bird and Steve Adams artist studio located in the old JC Penney building.
Just 6 miles south is Price which has one of Americas premier Dinosaur Museums with thousands of displays. You kids will go crazy.
And 9 Mile Canyon is just northeast of Price. There are more petroglyphs and pictographs in a 10 mile radius than any other canyon in Utah. Most are noted with roadside markers with instructions on how to find them. Many can be seen from the road.
