Guesthouse Bluebells is a renovated Japanese house set in the south of Ibusuki, which is famous for the hot sand steamed bath. The property is in a quiet residential area surrounded by the beauty of the real countryside. The host is pleased to help you navigate the area and to show you the best sights around town, or you can rest in the quiet, airy room and listen to the birds sing. All I wish is for you to "Make yourself at home!" You also have access to a veranda and free Wi-Fi.

The space
Guest room:
Airy and fairly bright as it's facing the east. It has a table set and a closet. Two single beds can be attached if the guest requests.
[!]Traditional Japaneses houses use the sliding door without the locks, so no locks attached in the guest room.

Shared area:
I am staying at this house. The kitchen, bathroom, common room and the veranda is shared with myself. If you like cooking, you are free to prepare your meals in the kitchen. Some condiments, tea and coffee are available. The common room and veranda are suitable for reading, drinking and chilling out.

Breakfast:
Self-served items such as bread, jam, yoghurt, bananas, coffee, tea, and milk.

Guest access
As I am staying at this house, the kitchen, bathroom, common room and veranda is to be shared.

Other things to note
The common room might be occupied for about 2 hours on any given day as I sometimes teach English in the house. Therefore, I will ask you not to access to the common room during the class. I will let you know in advance when I have a class. I apologise for any inconvenience that I may cause you.

Hi, this is Megumi. I love travelling, meeting new people, and learning about other cultures. I've learnt so many things through my travels. I felt surprised and sometimes awkward when I encountered the people acting and thinking differently based on their culture, but, at the same time, I discovered that these experiences made me wiser little by little. I've become educated to accept different values and worldviews. I appreciate all the people I met on my trips because they treated me like a family or friend and gave me a huge, tremendous support even though I was not good enough to speak their language. I learned how people can give their love and care to others in other countries. It was very special for me. As I was a solo-traveler, their kindness, warm welcoming, and support was a great gift to me. Thanks to them, I survived and had the best time in my life. It's my turn to give back my appreciation through other travelers. It's a long-awaited dream to be a host for myself. I wish to introduce my lovely hometown to the guests and to give them an opportunity to experience something new. I will be pleased if the guests have a good time here!
