This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Sitting quietly on the top of a small hill at the end of a gravel path sits this wonderful old caravan. Let yourself in and close the door on the world, if just for a moment, and enjoy the tranquillity from behind the pages of a good book. Fill the kettle and wait for its whistling melody as you watch the sun set in the distance and nature spring to life around you for its evening shift. Close enough to everything for comfort yet far enough away for solitude. It really is a fantastic spot.
The space
The caravan is suitable for 2 people maximum and it has been fitted with 2 single beds, which are about 6 feet in length. Shower? No problem, although it does echo the craze of the cold shower similar to the Wim Hof approach. Embrace it, however, then look forward to a nice hot cuppa as a treat after!! There is a gas hob and a gas oven to take care of your cooking requirements! Lighting is provided through a 12v system, and the caravan could be described as being "off grid" yet with all mod cons!

We provide a self service check in for guests. The directions will be sign posted on arrival. We do have a couple of friendly dogs on site and a cat!

There are numerous things to see and do around the area. We are within 30 minutes of the the following attractions; Burren Nature Santuary, Burren National Park (numerous options for walking/hiking), Cliffs of Moher, the Wild Atlantic Way, Kilmacduagh Monastery and Thoor Ballyle which is the former home of W.B. Yeats. Just down the road is Kiltarton Gregory museum and Coole park. If you want to get off the beaten track Chevy chase woods is ideal for quiet walks and White sands is lovely for a dip in the lake. We are 40 minutes from Galway city, 40 minutes from Shannon airport and we are a 25 minute drive from the village of Kinvara with it has lively pubs, restaurants and Irish music.
