Great location in the village with close food shopping and pubs/restaurants. The beds are comfortable and kitchen well equipped. We would stay here again.

In London en route from Canada for our son's graduation, we learned that the Airbnb house we booked in Oxford 9 months earlier suddenly needed repairs and was no longer available. As I feared, there was absolutely nothing available in Oxford at that point, not even a hotel room. Slight panic ensued until I found Denise's house, a 20 minute train ride from Oxford. Lucky for us, she had a cancellation. We moved right in and had a wonderful 5 night stay. It was an easy commute to all the convocation festivities in Oxford yet located in the idyllic, serenely beautiful English country side. On the 5 minute walk between the train and house, you see horses grazing and hear song birds. The house is lovely, with a well equipped kitchen and iconic English garden. And the village, just a few minutes walk through the church yard, has excellent pubs and shops. Denise was a pleasure to deal with and very caring and responsive. All in all, a wonderful stay. We already long to return!

Denise's house is beautiful. She is very easy to contact and our check in was easy peasy. The area is very peaceful, we even loved the sound of the church bells. Comfy beds. Great information leaflets and her suggestions are fabbo. We had a delicious meal at the Bull. The staff there were so nice and friendly. Very easy to drive to all destinations in the Cotswolds. We especially loved Burford. We drove to the Park and Drive at Pear Tree and then hopped on the bus to central Oxford. The Covered Market was brilliant. The kids loved our day out at the Cotwolds Wildlife Park, about 20/25 minutes drive away. All in all a fantastic stay. Thanks Denise

Incredible find - I'm hesitant to divulge this secret gem! The house and town are gorgeous and Denise is a very accommodating host. We had a wonderful time - great central launch pad for Stonehenge, Avebury, Kenilworth and Warwick castles. Thanks Denise!

Denise's house was a wonderful find for a quiet girls' weekend away. We originally booked a large central Oxford flat and were let down with a cancellation within a month of our trip. That forced us to widen our radius and actually staying in Charlbury was a million times better as it is a picture-postcard Cotswold stone village with gorgeous pubs, country scenery and the house is along a lane by the church in an idyllic rural setting yet only a 10min downhill walk to the station where direct trains take only 20mins to Oxford. Excellent value and great communication from Denise meant that this was Air BnB at its best!
