The Hayloft is an ideal romantic rural retreat where you can relax in your private garden or venture into the shared 2 acre garden and have a glass of wine by the fire pit watching the sun set or look out over the fields from a hammock. There is a lovely 25 minute walk from the barn to the local pub and a 10 minute bike ride to Rattlesden, a charming local village with a community run post office and small shop and two pubs, one for fine dining. The historic towns of Bury St Edmunds, Lavenham and Long Melford are all a 20 minute drive (approx.).

I live at Deepwell with my husband and children.. We love growing our own vegetables and looking after the hens and ducks and are moving to be self sufficient! The small holding (house and barn) is 500 years old and has its own well for water. We've been hosting people to stay for the past 4 years and enjoy sharing this beautiful part of Suffolk with them.
