Welcome to our fully remodeled 1920 textile mill village home! Fully furnished and waiting for you with 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each, bathroom, living room with sleeper sofa, full kitchen, laundry, and workout area.

Minutes from downtown Spartanburg and Greenville, GSP Airport (14 minutes!), BMW, grocery stores, gas stations, and interstates. Enjoy the Upstate in a quiet town outside the cities!

The space
Ready to welcome you on your next business trip or vacation!

This house is the best mix of modern convenience and old-time charm! The 9 foot ceilings make this house feel spacious and inviting, while the original heart pine hardwood floors and original interior doors, knobs, hinges, and trim preserve the 1920s character.

But, after its recent remodeling, it now sports an open concept living room and kitchen area, all new kitchen cabinets and stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, tile floors in the kitchen, wash room, and bathroom, a tile shower, and all new light fixtures.

Each bedroom has black-out curtains, a closet, and a dresser. One of the bedrooms is setup to be a kids room, complete with toys, a Lego building table with a bin of Duplos, a play kitchen, and even a climbing wall! But we won't say anything if the adults give the climbing wall a try. (Use climbing wall at your own risk)

The living room includes a 55" 4K Roku TV, sleeper sofa (queen equivalent), black-out curtains, and a cute donkey to make you smile!

The kitchen is ready for any meal! Pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and glasses are ready for you to cook you next delicious dish. There is even a tea and coffee station for your morning wake up call, and 4 bottles of wine when you're ready to wind down (wine is take a bottle, leave a bottle, please). And when you're done, the dish washer will take care of the clean-up!

Need to get a quick workout in before going out? No problem! The treadmill, adjustable dumbbells, and bench in the front room are there for you to get your sweat on (use at own risk). And when you're done, toss your clothes in the washer and dryer to get your sweat out.

Finally, enjoy saving your phone data with the whole-house wifi, playing in the back yard with a 6 foot privacy fence, and sitting on the front porch watching the sun go down while sipping a cold drink.

Where you’ll be

Lyman, South Carolina, United States

The Lyman Mill Village is the product of the now shutdown Pacific Mills textile mill. Pacific Mills built 375 homes for its employees, many of which still stand today. Since the mill closed in 2005, Lyman has seen a resurgence in the town due to other large employers in the area and also from the central location of Lyman between the larger cities of Greenville and Spartanburg. Like this house, many others have been revitalized.

The town is quiet, respectful, and filled with people willing to help each other. There is a train track somewhat near the house, but the trains tend to run less at night and the thick black-out curtains help with any noise. We have had no issues with sleep despite the train.

My wife, Jessica, and I currently live in Lyman, South Carolina, USA with our two dogs and 3 year old son. We love to travel outside the country at least once per year, with Bali being our most recent (and favorite so far!) stop. We keep things tidy and quiet in the house being engineers.
