Irwin is a small community that nestles the SouthFork of the Snake River, one of the best fly fishing areas. Anglers fish year-round for Cutthroats, Rainbow, and German Browns. The area offers other recreation such as rafting, kayaking, hiking, and trail rides with convenient, short drives to the spectacular views in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

Only 60 miles from Jackson Hole, WY; 70 miles from Teton National Park; and, 100 miles from the South entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

Skiing opportunities include Grand Targhee, 40 miles, and Teton Village Ski Resort, 49 miles.

Restaurants in the area are within 3 miles, breakfast, lunch and dinner. A small coffee shop, Ray's Place, is a local favorite along with The Roadhouse and Little Moose.
