Welcome to Bandon-By-The-Sea. Relax in your own master suite with private bathroom. My home is in a quiet neighborhood only 1/2 mile from charming Old Town. You will be within walking distance of a variety of shops, restaurants and the boardwalk. Self check-in and out are an easy option if preferred.

The space
Single story home with large yard lined with hedges, apple tree and wild blackberry bushes. Gravel driveway with ample parking. Please do not block garage door access when parking. My driveway is marked with a giant X in reflective tape on the mailbox. The bed is standard queen size. One additional twin bed. Kitchen and laundry privileges available. This is one of 2 rooms available for rent in my home. Common areas may be shared with other guests.

Besides enjoying the wide beaches, learn the Native American legend of Face Rock, stroll Old Town, enjoy squeaky cheese curds at Face Rock Creamery, Play some golf, go crabbing, search for agates, watch birds and whales(seasonal),visit the lighthouse at the mouth of the Coquille River. Some people visit to watch winter storms. Whatever your reason Bandon is a lovely spot beside the Pacific Ocean.

I've been living in Bandon for about 10 years.I grew up in a very large family from the Midwest. As one of 14 children, sharing my home comes second nature to me. I love meeting new people from all walks of life and pride myself on providing a welcoming retreat for travelers.
I also work full -time as a case manager with our county mental health department .
When I'm not busy I enjoy beach combing for items that arrive from sea. I love living in Bandon because it has so much to offer in a wide variety of affordable activities. Beach combing being one of my favorites along with blueberry and blackberry picking, and on the stormy days...baking!
I try to practice sustainable consumer and recycling habits in my day to day life and encourage others to do so as well.

During your stay

I am rarely home during the day but am always easy to reach by phone and happy to interact with guests as welcomed. I have a lockbox and self check-in and out is often arranged. I send lock box access instructions the day of your arrival. When you check out please leave the keys on the dining table and lock the front door handle pulling it tight to secure.
