The photos do not do this place justice - all 4 of us have stayed in several Air bnbs and we agreed this was the best ever. Beautiful, homely cottage that is stunning. Super efficient wood burning stove, properly stocked kitchen that means it's easy to cook for yourself. Ann was helpful and available for all of our queries. There was wine, cider, chocolates, coffee and tea all waiting on arrival. very spacious for four of us to spread out and enjoy the weather rolling in over the stream.

This is a wonderful place to stay and the patio by the stream is gorgeous. Many thanks for the lovely personal touches around the house. It was lovely to meet you Ann on the last day. We hope to be back.

This is a beautifully furnished and fantastically located modern barn conversion. Tasteful, large and totally secluded. The double doors of the vaulted living space open onto a flagged patio by a stream that is something out of an Austen novel. Ann was a tremendously helpful host and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. My children in particular were extremely happy playing down by the waterside watching the minnows and crayfish in the shallows. Book it for the weekend before I beat you to it.

We stayed at Mill Barn for a long weekend with two children aged 3 and 6 months. Everything was superb. The beds/bedrooms were fabulous, it was so quiet we got some well needed rest! The place was super clean and all we might have needed from utility perspective was available and clearly documented how to use. Anne came to meet us for check in and was available during our stay if we had any questions (Anne and her husband live next door). I guess the best way to show our recommendation is to say we've pencilled in a re-booking. Lovely place, thanks Anne!

Ann was a great host, extremely friendly and helpful. The place speaks for itself although I would add that it is more beautiful in real life and that the photos do not do it justice. We were a couple of minutes away from the nearest shop although Ann was well prepared and had thought of the little things like tea bags and milk to ensure we didn't have to rush off upon arrival. After a long journey there's nothing like a cup of tea to help you settle in and no better place to sip away, than outside on the bench, nestled away by the steam. We had everything we needed in a beautiful setting - what more could you want from a couple of nights away - it was truly PERFECT!!

Set in a tranquil location just outside the village Mill Barn is perfect location for those looking for an escape. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, great attention to detail with everything you need for those wanting to do some self catering. Bags of space inside, very comfortable beds and a little gem of a garden down to a babbling brook, clean enough for fish to thrive. Ann's a great host and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend and would stay again without hesitation.
