Good sized kitchen and dining room for the 8 of us that stayed over the weekend. Nice big dining room table that comfortably fit everyone around. No cell service or WiFi which guaranteed we were "unplugged" for the weekend. The hot tub was a plus.

Quiet, secluded and so close to nature. Check out the local restaurants and bakery as they are also incredible. Will stay again.

Hi Kevin: Thank you for the review for family Cabin 19! We are very pleased to hear that you had an enjoyable stay at the cabin, and thank you for the ship shape way in which you left the cabin upon departure. In your private notes, you asked about hot tub servicing. All of our hot tub equipped properties are serviced just prior to guest arrival. By taking a cleansing shower prior to hot tub usage, (as posted) additional servicing should not be required. My wife and I use our personal hot tub practically every evening. By showering prior to hot tub usage, the water clarity and chemical balance remains relatively constant. We add chemicals about one time per week, and only need to change the water about once every three months. Just some FYI knowledge for you. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to seeing you again soon :) Happy trails, Dan

Very much as advertised. What's not advertised, though, is that the house is one of the few in the Mt Baker Rim complex that looks over the Nooksack River. It's nice to hear the river rushing by while sitting in the outdoor hot tub!
