Charming house in Aragon mountains. Lucy and Simon put a lot of efforts to make your stay the more pleasant it could be. The food was delicious and offering a perfect blend of flavors. I strongly recommend this place for any nature lovers who wants to discover this region. Thanks again Mallory and Camille

My husband and I were on our honeymoon when we visited Casa Allué for only two short nights. Lucy and Simon were phenomenal hosts, one of the best I've had since joining Airbnb many years ago. They were gracious, helpful and thoughtful. They know the area extremely well and were quick to offer suggestions on what to do in the area and gave us as much detail as we needed. Casa Allué is a beautiful home that Lucy and Simon have painstakingly restored. It has charm, character, history and modern conveniences all in one together. Location was great - 30 mins drive South-East of Torla if you're interested in Monte Ordesa and 30 mins North-West of Aínsa, a medieval town with great views. If you're driving through Spain, this is a definite place to stop by and stay for a few nights. I highly recommend the food - dinner was fantastic and the picnic lunches are great if you're doing a hike. Don't worry about Lucy's comment about the garden not being ready. The splendor of the home, the views of the mountains, and Lucy and Simon's hospitality more than make up for it. We will definitely be returning if our travels bring us back to Spain!

Wonderful place, in such a beautiful location, Lucy and Simon were the greatest hosts, and I loved my stay. The room was lovely, with an amazing view to wake up to in the morning, followed by a delicious breakfast. Great recommendations for things to do in the local area, and the best dinners I´ve had in ages. I would recommend to anyone without hesitation, and I hope to return soon!

Lucy and Simon proved to be very gracious hosts. Lucy and I comunicated a number of times prior to our arrival. She was very timely and informative with her responses and our requests. She provided a great recommendation for a short hike on the way to the property. The property is beautiful. It is in a picturesque setting. An unforgettable escape from our reality. The home is a great eco friendly renovation with modern ammenities. Simon provided a delicious dinner and a perfect packed lunch for our adventure. Our hosts also assisted us with plans for our short stay and recommended stopping of places on our way to the next place. If you are looking to stay in the area, this should be high on your list!

Casa Allue was everything we had hoped for and more! Lucy, Simon, Penny and Sophie were our gracious hosts for 6 days, and we can't remember when we've enjoyed ourselves more. What a treat to experience their craftsmanship in turning this place into a truly one-of-a-kind B&B! Their knowledge of the area - history, geology, birds, etc - made our remarkable hiking excursions truly memorable, and the two dinners that Simon served were absolutely gourmet wonderful (in addition, the Somantano wines are hard to beat)!! And to top our visit to Albella off, we enjoyed the annual village fiesta the night before we left, and were certainly reluctant to say goodbye the next morning. We know we hardly scratched the surface with all that the area has to offer, and we hope to visit again sometime in the future, perhaps for a language or cooking class!

Lucy, Simon, and their family have restored an old stone farmhouse nested in the little village of Abella into a quaint little bed and breakfast. The attention to detail taken to furnishings is perfect. The tranquil landscape provides postcard perfect photo opportunities at any moment,  whether you are negotiating one of the many nearby trails,  or exploring the local village. Following a day exploring the hiking a delicious dinner awaits for you back at the farmhouse. If you are a geologist, or have an interest in ancient landscape, you have come to the perfect place. It really is geologist (sedimentary especially) paradise and a must see for every geologist. Drop stones, moraines, Bouma sequence, trace fossils, folds, thrusts, dolines, it is all within a stones throw.  Many thanks for making this such a memorable experience, we look forward to staying with you again.

Sometimes you find yourself in a place you didn't expect. You read the descriptions and see the photographs, but they just don't prepare you for the real thing. This is what happened when we arrived Casa Allue in Albella, Spain. Our main objective was to find a decent place to lay our heads at night after hiking the incredible Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido. What we found in the tiny village of Albella was a beautifully renovated old farmhouse where we would fall asleep at night to the sounds of owls hoo-hoo-hooing in the cold night air, wake to lovely fresh baked bread with breakfast each morning, and be supplied with delicious pack lunches for our hikes in the park. Lucy and Simon Woollons, the proprieters and hosts par excellence, of Casa Allue have thought of every detail in refurbishing the farmhouse and accompanying barn. Our guest room, with it's beautiful outlook, was furnished with antiques befitting the environment, and the en suite bathroom was outfitted with ultra-modern fixtures such as an amazing walk-in rain shower, beautiful sink and vanity, and a heated towel rack. As amazing as the house and barn are, the heart and soul of Casa Allue are provided by Lucy and Simon themselves. Their hospitality and friendship during our stay made it hard for us to leave. From making sure we had everything we needed in the room, to preparing lovely meals (breakfast, pack lunch, and dinner), to offering suggestions on which hikes to take in the park, Lucy and Simon proved themselves not to be just ordinary innkeepers. Their generosity will remain with us for years to come, as we long to be back in this beautiful casa, in this beautiful village, sitting in one of the most beautiful settings we've ever laid our eyes upon. In fact, I dreamt last night of watching the full moon rise over the stone ruins of the old church, as I did on our first night in Albella, to the sounds of the soft clanging of cowbells emanating from the valley below, and the sweet bleats of two lambs we named Penny and Sophie as they played in the surrounding field. Casa Allue will not soon be forgotten. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Lucy and Simon.
