The Storm Meadows Club condominiums are located a little higher on the ski mountain from the base of the resort, along Storm Meadows Drive. This complex is Ski-in / Ski-out via a green run called "right of way" that leads down from the base of the Thunderhead lift to the base of the ski mountain and the gondola. These units share a clubhouse facility that includes an outdoor heated pool, shared hot tubs, work out facility, exercise machines and sauna. During the winter months, these units are considered a little too far to walk back down to the base area, mainly due to the icy road with traffic being dangerous.

This complex does have a private shuttle that will bring you back and forth from the condo complex and the base of the ski area during the day. There are many different buildings associated with Storm Meadows, and each one might have some pro's and con's compared to another building at Storm Meadows depending on what is most important to you and your family. This can impact the view you might have, access to a pool, whether the condo is Ski in/walk out or Ski In/Ski Out, access to private shuttle service or whether you can walk to Ski Time Square.

We have several properties at Storm Meadows Club Condominiums (A, B, C) as well as Storm Meadows Christie Base, so if you are getting confused on all the options and need to some help, feel free to give us a call and we can help point you in the right direction.

My wife, daughter and I are fortunate enough to call Steamboat Springs Colorado home. We love living in a small mountain town where you can recognize your neighbors by seeing their mountain bike on a local trail or their ski tips behind you in the lift line. There is something magical about living in a small town that is isolated from a lot of the stress that comes from living in a big city (not saying I don't appreciate a trip San Fran, Denver or Seattle). Personally, I love big powder days and skiing the back-country where you don't see a soul. The change of seasons here are great, it allows you to look forward to seeing the first snow of the year in the fall, the mountain bike trails drying out in the Spring and the flowers blooming on top of the continental divide in July. I always try to get a raft trip in on a major river somewhere out West . . I cant wait until my daughter is old enough to take with me. I grew up in Ohio but moved out West to Colorado over 20 years ago after graduating college. Nothing against Ohio, but the West is the best! The mountains, the rivers, the desert and everything in between allows for endless adventures all year round! On a personal level I love seeing live music . . . and always make the effort to go see a major music festival each year (ACL, JazzFest, HSB, Telluride Bluegrass, etc), you name it they are all a wonderful experience. Today, we own a few vacation rental properties in Steamboat Springs, and we manage several others for out-of-town owners (via our company Steamboat Vacation Rentals). Whether you’re a couple on a romantic getaway or a large family gathering, we have a property that is perfectly suited to your needs. The great thing about renting from a local mom & pop shop is that you have a Steamboat local to count on (via phone or at your doorstep), someone who will ensure your vacation is as carefree as possible for you and your family. You also know that you have someone you can trust when you have questions about activities, events and local restaurants. Our goal is to help make your vacation to Steamboat one your whole family will enjoy. When it comes to year-round, family-friendly fun, Steamboat Springs, Colorado, is unlike any other destination. The town boasts world-class skiing in the winter and a plethora of summer activities, including hiking and fishing. Whatever season you come, you’re sure to fall in love with the area’s natural beauty and the welcoming locals, just as we have. Don't forget to ask for a link to our Vacation Planning Guide to Steamboat (Website hidden by Airbnb) great tool we put together as a long time local to help visitors ensure they have a memorable stay in our little mountain town.
