Very cosy cottage, ideally located for walking in Coniston. 10 minutes walk to a good local pub. No frills accommodation but perfect for our needs. Main negative was the very flat pillows leaving me with neck pain so bring your own if you're particular about that! Would book again.

Great cottage for couples. Plenty of space, very well equipped. We even used the log burning stove in August, it made the lounge very cosy in the evening. 2 good pubs nearby. Lots of hiking options - both big hills and easy circuits to and from the lake.

The cottage was absolutely lovely (and as other reviewers as said, is far bigger than you might expect from the photos) in a great location. The weather was a bit unseasonable for summer, but the cottage was very warm and cosy.
