Anna Maria is genuine, authentic and a great help if you are new to the city. She runs a tight ship and keeps the space impeccably:)

Anne-Marie is a very friendly and helpful person. She explained me everything in details where to find and how to use things in her house. The only bad thing for me was there were many rooms for guests, but only one bathroom where you could have a bath/shower. Anyway I recommend to stay there because of the value and her hospitality.

I had a flying visit to Cork (just 18 hours or so) but despite that this was not one of the better Airbnbs I've stayed in. I'm young enough and agile enough to get into and out of the bed but be warned it has a side bar that could make it very difficult depending on your physical agility. Anna Marie gave a quick run through of the long list of rules and particularly the front door lock (because incorrect maneuvre can crunch keys and replacements are €85 a go). Location is fine - a nice uphill 15/20 minutes walk from train station and close to bus stops if you prefer that. All in all, it's fine if you're young, agile and on a budget but I wouldn't be going back.

Factotum who loves food, books, radio, movies, theatre, and dancing. Having travelled most of the world I decided to put down roots in this beautiful city with all its quirkness. Most of my life consists of meeting and getting to know new people and extending that hospitality we Irish are renowned for.
