On a small parcel of land an orchard was planted in the spring consisting of a variety of fruit trees. A vegetable
garden is ongoing. Newly planted perennials are expected to make a splash come spring. Can't wait!

The space
My other listing which is A Little Piece of "Heaven" in the Country is opposite the "French" room.
That room consists of a queen size bed, ensuite bathroom and a desk.
The two rooms combined offer accommodation for a group of four traveling together.

The common areas consist of the dining room, the living room and the use of the kitchen for casual cooking.

Outdoor seating is available both on the front porch or the back deck.
Each area offers a different view of the property guaranteed not to disappoint. Sunsets can be magnificent and a clear night sky will have you star gazing for sure.

An expanse of grassy area is great for playing catch, badminton or tossing around a frisbee.
It is up to my guests to bring their own equipment when it comes to outdoor activities.

I live in Tyendinega Township which is a 20 minute drive to downtown Belleville.
Although my location is adequately mapped out in my listing I feel it is beneficial to my guests to point it out again in the "overview".

South from where I live is Mohawk territory.
So much of their culture is evident as you come upon shops selling their magnificent hand made quality goods.
Their traditional yearly pow wow is not only educational, but also lot of fun.
It is also a "tax free" zone so gas, cigarettes, gifts and so on are less expensive.

A mere 3 minute drive or a nice walk around the corner will take you to the Tyendinega caves which has become a popular attraction to people visiting this area.

Across from the caves at Prosperity Acres, Jen and Eddie run a successful nursery business. Worthwhile to stop in, even just for a chat.

A 15 minute drive north will take you to Vanderwater nature area which has become very popular for hikers, bicycle riders and dog walkers.

Ecstacy Crafts Inc. is located on my road, a 5 minute drive south.
If you are into paper crafting you MUST check this place out!

Small towns such as Tweed, Stirling, Madoc and Marmora are great destinations for day tripping.
As you meander your way along those beautiful country roads you will be shouting "stop the car" as you come across something that has grabbed your attention.

Day trips to Kingston or Prince Edward County are worthwhile.
Each has so much to offer!
It is a 45 minute drive to either of these destinations.
