This is a beautifully renovated 1 floor, 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home, centrally located in the heart of Eureka. It is within walking distance to restaurants and Humboldt Bay, and less than a mile to the shops in either Old Town or Henderson Center.

The space

Hand crafted furniture and original artwork throughout the house, as well as a unique dining room mural depicting local scenes in Eureka, make this house truly special. In addition, the one floor plan, ramp entry, heightened toilets and grab bars in both bathrooms make it particularly helpful if disabled; the house may accommodate some wheelchairs. However, NO ANIMALS are permitted.

Guest access

Guests have access to everything in the house. As owner lives on the property, any questions or problems can be quickly resolved. There is keyless entry; each party will have its own code for entry and that code is deleted when the party leaves.

Interaction with guests

I will be here to welcome all guests and be available to answer questions, if/ as they arise.

Peg has a lovely place. She made us comfortable from the moment we arrived and provided yummy cheese, many options of tea and coffee and a very clean, fun home. We slept well and enjoyed using the well supplied kitchen to cook breakfast. Thanks for a wonderful weekend stay Peg!

Peg's place is one of the best places we stayed at for our coastal trip. She was super nice, thoughtful, greeting us on our arrival, offering us tips on where to visit, and a great host in general. Her place was super clean, beautifully laid out, and well organized. We enjoyed reading and experiencing a piece of the history of her place. We would definitely recommend Peg's place to anyone who wants to make a stop in Eureka, and we would love to stay there again in the near future.

This place is amazing! Peg is a great host, she responds to your emails right away. Her place is clean and I really appreciated the small touches. You can tell she puts a lot of love into her home. She provides you with everything you will need. Her place is close to everything. Stores, HSU and so much more. I would recommend this place to everyone. When I plan to pick up my son from his first year of college I plan to stay here if it is available. This has been one of the best places we have stayed at. Thank you again Peg for making our stay wonderful and comfortable.

Hi! I'm Peg. I'm an RN, edging towards retirement. I've downsized from my house to a studio on the property. Originally a transplant from the East and Midwest, I've been in my Eureka home for nearly 25 years. I hope to make your visit here in Redwood country as enjoyable as mine has been.
