The space

Are you looking for a centrally located apartment for your own purpose, vacation or business trip? The 30m² apartment is ideal for that. You reach the old town within 15minutes, to the fair "Messe" within 25minutes by tram and metro. The tram is around the corner.

The apartment is equipped with two separate real beds, each 100cm x 200cm. Each guest will receive a pillow, blanket, linen, towel. The kitchen is equipped with all tools usually needed to prepare a lovely breakfast and to cook your lunch or dinner.
If you do not want to cook, there is plenty of nice restaurants and fast food in walking distance (greece, italian, japanese, asian, turkish...).
There are many supermarkets around (famous REWE superstore, Norma, and shops with fresh vegetables/fruits).
The bathroom is equipped with a toilet and shower, hair dryer and iron is available. Wonderful at winter: you have permanent warm >20°C room temperature, and the bathroom floor is warm. Here you will for sure not freeze. There is a wash saloon available in 5min walking distance, with 7kg washing machines and dryer.

It is not allowed to smoke in the apartment and the building.

The apartment is in 4th floor - elevator available.

I'd be happy to help you with your travel plans and look forward to your visit.

Guest access

The complete apartment is for you alone. No area is being shared.

Interaction with guests

You will meet either myself or my wife Adrianna at the apartment to hand over the keys and we will show you around. If you need anything like help in reservation of a table in a restaurant please let me know.

Other things to note

For long term rental, please contact me first. Pricing is negotiable
Checkin/Checkout to be aligned, sometimes it is possible for early checkin or late-checkout. Please let me know your travel plans and align on the checkin/checkout time. Usually I'd prefer after 5pm, but often i am flexible and it can be much earlier or even late in the evening.

I want to be with my guests open and honest, this is why I provide the following notes in advance before you book:

As the building is well isolated (that's why it is warm in winter as described above), if you keep the windows all day open in hot summer, it is difficult to remove the heat. I recommend to open the windows early in the morning or late evening only, and if you leave the apartment during the day, to keep all windows closed.

I have set this apartment with the marking "potential to noise" due to the following reasons:
- Nuremberg is a 0.5M population metro city with lot of traffic
- The apartment is located towards the street (but there is no traffic jam to be expected)
- You could hear the traffic

What has been done to limit the noise?
- Luckily the governing mayor reacted and set speed limit in my street to 30km/h instead of usually 50km/h during day time - so compared to other streets this is now really appreciated - just because there is a school in the same street.
- Windows have an isolation

Please do not book this apartment if you expect silence to relax in a big city, I recommend one of the airbnb offerings in the surroundings like in Feucht. Please do not reduce your rating for this apartment based on potentials for traffic.

Gregor has a nice place that represents an excellent value for a stay in Nuremberg. The entire city is very accessible from the apartment, and Gregor was kind enough to meet me and provide excellent suggestions on how to deal with the Sundays and holidays that dominated my stay at his residence. I'd recommend his place for anyone looking for a place to stay in Nuremberg.

Just stayed 2 night at Gregors place. Great place, just take a tram to the old city centre. Gregor is a nice man, and welcomed me at the place.

I want to thank Gregor for his kindness and possibility to live in his apartment. Our train was arrived in the late night and he met us at the main station which was very comfortable. Apartment is good, however there are no chairs in it, which a little bit uncomfortable since you need to use the bed as a chair. Also there is no wi-fi, so future guests should be ready for this. Location is fine, there are couple of supermarkets. One of them is supermarket with alcohol, where you can find hundreds of different beer types. I suggest this place for those who want to try German,Bavarian and a other types of beer. As for the transport, the tram stop is close to the apartment, so there were no problems to get to the city city center.

The flat is nice, quiet, and the location was OK. Building a bit old, furniture too, but the stay was OK.
