The apartment was a lovely clean and well laid out apartment with a large garden and terrace area. We were greeted by the host’s sister and brother in law as the host himself was travelling. We were given a friendly welcome and everything was clearly explained to us. The fridge was stocked with essential items on arrival which was most welcome. The apartment is located in an interesting area overlooking Italy’s second largest amphitheatre. A family ticket to the amphitheatre costs only €5.00. We found it very interesting and enjoyable with full access to a labyrinth of underground tunnels and structures. The square near the apartment comes alive at night with locals playing boules and families gathering for music and karaoke. There are several good restaurants close by and of course great take out pizzas. It is also a very good town for shopping. We found it to be an authentic location for a short stay or to use as a base for exploring Naples and surrounding areas.

The B&B was exactly as described and easy to get to from Naples airport (about 25 min). It was very clean and had a nice little kitchen that was well equipped. It was amazing to see the ruins of the amphitheatre that were right behind. Pasquale was easy to communicate with for check in and suggestions of what to see in the area.

Thanks for the nice review. Nearby there are many things to see: 2000 years of history. Too bad that your stay has been so short. I look forward to your next trip.

Pasquale's property was great to stay at. Everything was clean, he had EVERYTHING extremely organized, he had a folder of many things for us to know, both in English and Italian which was REALLY helpful. He also had a few menus for us to review. The breakfast food items were great - with plenty of choices! We would recommend this listing, not only for how well kept the inside of the apartment is, but also because of the amazing view of the Amphitheater ... it is FOR REAL!!! :) Additionally, right in the archaelogical site, there is an amazing restaurant Amici Bio that we enjoyed VERY much! Thanks for a great place to stay Pasquale! Linda & Dan

Pasquale was extremely helpful and hospitable. We were there for about one month as we were visiting relatives in the area. The highway is close by so other cities are conveniently close by. The apartment was very clean and exactly as described. The air conditioning was a blessing as we were there during the hottest weeks of the summer. The amphitheater is beautiful especially when lit up at night. One day we went to the gladiator museum next to the amphitheater and the gentleman there asked us for our tickets. Then he said "Americani?" I said to him in Italian that I had relatives in another town, and he jumped up and said, "No! I was born there!" Then I mentioned the street where most of them were, and he got even more excited and said that's where his relatives lived. Well, come to find out, he was related to me by marriage, all my cousins knew him, and then he told me I probably had a cousin right there in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, which turned out to be true, so I got to meet a him too! Because there were a lot of summer festivities going on in the square near the amphitheater, parking was an issue several times when we returned from our daily excursions. Pasquale helped ease the situation a few times, but it could be a hassle if there are activities in the area. The Italians love to party! I would highly recommend this place for cleanliness, convenience and of course, the amphitheater.

Pasquale's place is fantastic. It's in a great quiet location right next to the ronan ruins which you can see from the back garden. We had a fantastic take away pizza from down he road and ate it on the terrace overlooking the illuminated ruins. The flat was spotless and comfortable with a wonderful supply of things for our breakfast. It's very secure and quiet but a short walk to some lively bars and restaurants. Highly recommended!
