We take great pride our wonderful cottage, with a brand new heating system hot showers and lovely warm rooms will keep you toasty over the winter months... Additional Heating from a wood burning stove.

The cottage is full of character and has low ceilings and doorways.

The cottage is located in Dickleburgh a stones throw from the village pub and a 2 minute walk to the shop and church and chip shop.

The space
Being a character cottage the property has low ceilings and a spiral stairs.

Myrtle Cottage in was constructed in 1817 as farm workers accommodation. The Grade 2 listed property has been extended twice since construction creating what is now the kitchen as the fist extension and the dining room / bathroom as the second.

The cottage sits on a small plot of land with a front garden big enough for family BBQs and relaxing in the sun (Sun not guaranteed - This is England) The cottage is conveniently placed for great road access to all the popular holiday amusements in Norfolk / Suffolk. The medieval town of Norwich is 17km to the north, Norwich is a great shopping destination and is steeped in history, the city offers 2 cathedrals and a wealth of pubs, bars and restaurants.

Within 45mins drive in any direction you will come across great attractions and towns worth a visit... Bury St Edmunds, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Southwold, Thetford, Ipswich and just 1 hour away from the beautiful North Norfolk coast.

Ground Floor - we have a fabulous living space with beams and wood burning stove in a fantastic fireplace. The kitchen and dining room have plenty of room for the family and the toilet and shower room are separate on the ground floor. There is a 40" tv in the living room.

The first floor at Myrtle is as follows. Up the old stair case to the first bedroom with a double bed and through to the 2nd bedroom with 2 singles. The rooms are basically one room with a dividing wall between the 2 so please take note of this. The rooms are fully beamed and are cosy with low ceilings and exposed brick fireplace. The rooms are suited to 2 separate guests with a room each or a family of 4. the beds layout is fixed.

Within the village is a local shop a pub and a chip shop. Other local towns for food shopping are Diss, Harleston. Local villages all around have some excellent public houses.
