The space

Escape to the tranquility of our farmhouse, "Casa Allue" in the hamlet of Albella, close to Ordesa National Park in the Spanish Pyrenees.
Our farmhouse has been restored with great care and love, preserving the wooden beamed ceilings and stone archways, and always respecting the traditional architecture of the area.
We have 7 en suite bedrooms, 4 with double beds, one with twin beds and 2 individual rooms.. All rooms have mountain views and their own luxury bathrooms and most have balconies The furniture has been carefully selected to fit in with the traditional feel of the house.
If this calendar is booked, please try our other listing.

Albella is a sleepy farming hamlet situated in the unspoilt valley of the river Ara.
We are ideally situated to reach both sides of the stunning National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido, a UNESCO world heritage site. The valley is remarkably green due to its central position in the Pyrenees where we benefit from the perfect balance between the hot mediterranean and cooler atlantic climate.

The current pricing is at a reduced rate as although we have just finished the restoration of the house, the terrace area and grounds are not yet landscaped.
We have single as well as double and twin rooms. There is also room for a supplementary bed in some of the larger bedrooms.
We provide an ample buffet breakfast in the dining room which is charged separately at 7€ per person (see below for details). We can also offer evening meals and packed lunches.

Guest access

Guests can access most of the house. There is a spacious dining room with WiFi , a large sitting room with exposed rock face, a traditional stone entrance hall with medieval arch and a small gym below a beautiful log roof. The house is set in open countryside and woods which guests are free to explore. There are some lovely walks straight from the house.

Interaction with guests

We are an English family and live on site so are available to advise on how best to spend your time during your stay. We speak Spanish and French and can help with booking activities or anything else you might need

Other things to note

We provide a buffet breakfast including a selection of cereals and muesli, fresh and dried fruits, yoghurt, semi skimmed milk, freshly home baked bread, butter, marmalade and jams, madelenas and croissants, coffee, teas and orange juice. This is charged separately at 7€ per person.

Three course evening meals can be provided on request (the night before) at a cost of 20€ per person including pre-dinner drinks in our spacious lounge, and wine or beer with the meal.
We can also provide packed lunches (7€) to take with you on your hikes through the park.

Casa Allué was *beautiful*, and was a lovely base for exploring the surrounding hamlets and Ordesa National Park. Lucy & Simon's dinners were amazing, and they made us feel very welcome in their lovely place.

Simon and Lucy welcomed us on our first nights in Spain, to their beautiful home in the mountains. They were quick with very helpful advice, provided excellent meals, including a supper at very short notice(thanks Simon!)and generally provided a very soft landing to our Spanish holiday. I would recommend them to anyone!

Our stay at Casa Allue was the perfect start to our Pyrenees holiday. My husband and I were planning a multi-day hike in the mountains and decided to stay at Lucy & Simon's for a couple of nights to introduce ourselves to the area and prepare for our hike. Lucy and Simon were invaluable in helping us prepare and giving us advice, and the extreme beauty and comfort of Casa Allue and Albella gave us the perfect break between finishing work pre-holiday and setting off on our mountain adventure. What I loved most was the perfect balance between having the comforts of a luxury B&B with beautiful rooms and facilities and yet the lack of distractions one might get at another type of B&B / (URL HIDDEN) TV's in rooms, wifi currently offered only in public areas of the house, meaning that you are aware that you really have escaped to the mountains. Thank you very much Lucy & Simon for a wonderful stay; next time we visit the Pyrenees your place is by far and away our first choice!!
