Nestled in the heart of the College Neighborhood in Pocatello, this "loft" is perfect for the traveling professor, business professional, travelers on their way through to Yellowstone or the Tetons, or those just looking for a cozy and clean space to stay in our beautiful small city. Idaho State University is a short two block walk and within 3 blocks we have a darling coffee shop, an eclectic hardware store (that carries a grand selection of shoes, wine, and outdoor gear) and a grocery store.

The space
This apartment is located in a triplex in the historic College Neighborhood. The family room and kitchen have a common wall with the apartment next door, however, the bedroom does not have a common wall and is not over a shared space. With oversized original windows in the open concept kitchen/dining/family room, the renovated apartment has the feeling of a big city loft. Mixing old with new -- restored hardwood floors, old windows, original cast iron tub, yet new appliances, great lighting, etc, creates a space that is inviting and clean.

The bedroom has a premium mattress, premium sheets, down comforter and a linen duvet.

For those wanting to be close to the university, this apartment is two blocks away. The historic College Market is directly on the way to ISU and is a great pit stop for a cup of coffee and pastry.

The College Neighborhood is an eclectic mix of historic homes surrounding Idaho State University. It is a good mix of professors, students, families, and friendly pets living in old colonials, craftsmans, tudors, greek revivals, etc.

Our family lives in Pocatello and loves our corner of Idaho. We have a passion and respect for historic homes and not only do we live in the College Neighborhood, but have now renovated another home to share with those visiting our city or passing through. We love to be outside whether it's hiking, skiing, backpacking or fishing. We are wanderers and foodies who enjoy traveling and eating new food, but there is no place like home. Our favorite place is together.
