Where you’ll be

Eye, England, United Kingdom

The local town of Eye (2 miles) has some lovely coffee shops, antiques, butchers, cocktail bar, deli, bakery, chocolate shop as well as all the essentials. Diss (3 miles) has larger supermarkets. Norwich is a 25 minute drive with its castle and boutique shops and the market town of Bury St Edmunds is lovely to visit for a bit of retail therapy. The coastal towns of Southwold, Walberswick, Aldeburgh are all within a 45 minute drive and well worth a visit. There are many attractions not too far away including High Lodge at Thetford and Banham Zoo. Within walking distance of the house is a lovely restaurant/pub called The Oaksmere with a huge pirate ship in the garden for children to play on.

Our properties are all located within our family farm. We have a wonderful old farmhouse and have over the past few years been converting redundant farm buildings into holiday lets. Our holiday lets run alongside our farming enterprise which consists of mainly arable land growing crops such as wheat, barley, potatoes and herbs and we also have a herd of rare breed Longhorn cows. We are very keen on conservation and protecting our land and soils for future generations.
