Our family friendly 4-bedroom house sits at the foot of Knocknarea on the Wild Atlantic Way. You will love its relaxation areas & spacious garden.

Drive 15 mins in any direction to find why this part of Sligo is adventure holiday capital of Ireland.

Our home is all about space both indoors & outdoors, allowing your family to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

Whether you are into beaches, mountains, surfing, stand-up paddling, bike riding, horse-riding, walking, it’s all here waiting for you.

The space
The house is a spacious home near Strandhill on the Atlantic coast and close to Sligo town, the capital of North West.

A family friendly 3-bedroom house it has lots of internal relaxation areas and spacious gardens. Extra pull out bed can be provided to accommodate 2 additional children (max 6 adults).

One prominent feature is two large almost wall-to-wall windows in an open-plan kitchen, dining and relaxation room. The windows merge the room with nature outside the house.

Guests will also enjoy a comfortable sitting room facing Knocknarea mountain and a large family room at the other side of the house.

Outdoors, in the large gardens there are two BBQ areas.

The house is nestled under the slopes of scenic Knocknarea on top of which sits ‘Maeve’s mound’ the reputed burial place of legendary Queen Maeve of Connaught.

Guests will find our home to be a perfect location to enjoy the delights of Strandhill. Only a 10-minute drive away, the bustling seaside village is widely known as a surfers paradise and a haven for those seeking a top dining experience with several delicious restaurants.

After dining, you can mingle with locals or tourists in award winning village hostelries.

Or relax in the famous Voya Seaweed Baths or enjoy a round of golf – all located right in the village.

Sligo town, the capital of the North West, is also only 10 minutes away. It’s got everything you could hope to find in a large town and more, from large stores stocking all the leading brands to the traditional family owned corner shop.

Add to that, theatres, art centres, cinema, restaurants, bars and you get a small picture of why WB Yeats hailed it to be The Land of Heart's Desire.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire house bar a couple of rooms we use for storage.
