There's music and magic in these old walls!

The cottage has character in abundance, oozing from its traditional stone walls, old timber beams, flag floors and open fireplace.
Dinny's cottage is only five minutes drive from the magnificent Cliffs of Moher.

The space

When you enter the property it gives you this magic feeling and you will suddenly realise this is part of history. This is a place where time has stood still and you will be transported back in time to the story telling era of a bygone Ireland.
We are purposely not going to describe the interior of this cottage because we want to leave this pleasure to the imagination of our discerning guests.
Get your morning call each morning from the cockerels in the Open farm next door.

Dinny's cottage is even more charming and beautiful in person, a real gem, must be seen to be truly appreciated. The living area is cosy, perfect for relaxing and there is a fully stocked kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable and the entire cottage was well kept and maintained. John was a fantastic host, very kind and accommodating, full of great tips and recommendations. He suggested a a number of places to eat and visit locally and all were lovely. I would both recommend and visit again in a heartbeat.

We had a fantastic time staying in Dinny's cottage. Its situated within walking distance to Liscannor on a beautiful quiet road with beautiful views close to the Cliffs. Brid greeted us with Mince Pies and Cream a perfect homely welcoming after our long drive. The cottage is warm and well equipped with everything you need. You can feel the traditions in the walls of the cottage with pictures of musicians and artists who used to frequent, and of course a picture of Dinny, a local legend who used to play the tin whistle on the Cliffs of Moher. On leaving John was very generous and easy going with our departure time and he took time to draw us a map of a beautiful walk in the Burren (unfortunately we didn't have the time to do - but next time John!) Overall a brilliant experience, if your holidaying in the area and want an authentic experience in a local community you wont do better than Dinny's cottage!

This is a very cozy and cute house. Its great for people who don't need wifi and don't need a big modern kitchen.

Beautiful cottage with a great view and a great location. Literally minutes from the cliffs. Listen to John for directions. He is better then the GPS!

This house was beautifully located if you are looking to be in the country by the sea. So close to so many beautiful hiking trails and near a few small towns for some local shopping, excellent food and great pubs for music. John was very responsive on booking, followed up with us before our arrival and helped us with great directions to find his place. We especially loved being close to the farm next door, hearing the roosters in the morning and greeting the goats each day when we left. We had a fantastic stay!
