Wood Cottage has 3 bedrooms, a double and 2 singles. There are 2 bathrooms, a beautiful sitting room that leads onto a secluded garden and a well equipped kitchen. All linen and towels are provided. Ideal for biking and walking holidays in the stunning Upper Tweed Valley. Cademuir Hill is directly in front of the cottage, steeped in history, with an Iron Age fort on the top. Nearby Peebles is full of interesting independent shops as well as award-winning chocolatier, Ruth Hinks at Cocoa Black.

The space
Surrounded by trees, a stream, hills and wildlife - red squirrels, owls and hedgehogs abound. The cottage has new furniture and fittings of the highest standard. One King size bed (5ft sq), one large and one standard garden is mature, south facing and huge; and your private domain. There is a BBQ, table and chairs. Broadband is superfast (8 GB is included per day, 100 GB extra is £10), and a house phone is provided as there is no mobile signal. Work friendly, and mobile/computer chargers etc available. Third bedroom is downstairs. Although supplied with the latest eco friendly, thermostatically controlled, electric radiators, and underfloor heating, the wood burning stove is a comfort on cold winter nights. Reasonable heating is included. Extra logs to those provided are available as extras. The adjacent cottage is not for rent. Secure bike shed. Wooden shed with tumble drier, drying pod, hangers for wet clothes, and trays for wet boots. No puppies ; horses by appointment. If you have specific requirements, or would like an earlier check in, please send a request.

Guest access
The cottage and its garden are solely for your pleasure. Parking in front is extensive. A secure shed can store 4 bikes and there is a tap and hose to wash off mud. Another shed has spare logs. A quiet horse can be accommodated in a small paddock. Livery near by. Parking available for motorhomes. Country sports enthusiasts welcome.

Other things to note
There is a stream at the bottom of the garden which may be a hazard for small children. No cats, as they cannot be kept off furniture and beds. Dogs should be kept on leads, and are not allowed on furniture - maximum 2 dogs. No puppies. Wifi top up of 100 GB can be purchased for £10. Country sports enthusiasts welcome.
