Room available in shared (1 other person) charming turn-of-the-century 5 1/2 located in the vibrant Mile-End Neighborhood of Montreal. The apartment is spacious and has a lovely balcony at the front, overlooking the street.

The apartment is located on a quiet, residential avenue just off Ave du Parc that provides a peaceful living and sleeping environment. Supermarkets and other small markets are literally minutes away on foot not to mention a plethora of great restaurants and cafes nearby.

The space
The guest bedroom is located at the back of the apartment, behind the kitchen, giving guests added privacy while they are here. There is a super comfortable, queen-sized Casper mattress + bed frame, a desk and closet space for clothing.

The entire apartment is decorated with antique furniture, persian rugs, tropical plants and original artworks to create a warm and stimulating environment.

(St Viateur Street, 10 minute walk from apartment, Many small restaurants and shopping - Cafe Olimpico and Social Club (Outside seating, people watching, good coffee)

Falafel Yoni - St. Viateur - Great Falafels!

Croissanterie (Fairmount and Hutchison) 3 minute walk from apartment. Bistro with great coffee. One of my favourite terraces in all of Montreal.

Rumi (Across from Croissanterie) Excellent Middle Eastern / Persian cuisine. Great terrace, as well.

Cafe Resonance (also a bar at night with live music) - Coffee and vegetarian food, live jazz and poetry readings at night. Corner Fairmount and Park Avenue, 5 minute walk from apartment.

Magpie (Maguire Street) Montreal-based, Brooklyn inspired pizzeria. Wood oven, semi-thin crusts.. High recommended.

Art Cafe (Fairmount and Jeanne Mance, 10 minute walk from apartment) Coffe is amazing and food right up there, too.

Kem Koba (Famous artisanal Ice Cream and Sorbet on Fairmount)

Toi & Moi Cafe (5 minute walk from apartment, on Laurier) Serves great breakfasts and coffee.

Larry’s - Café, wine bar, lunch spot, brunch spot

Tourtierre Australienne - Montreal’s only Australian eatery - ten minute walk from apt. on Avenue du Parc.

Milos - High end Greek restaurant on Park Avenue has been around for decades. Excellent.

Lemeac - Gourmet French cuisine around the corner on Laurier Street.

BARS (Near apartment)

Buvette (on Park Avenue, 5 minute walk from apartment, trendy bar with a cool terrace, good wine and food!)

Petit Idée Fixe - Dive bar next to Buvette, terrace, pool table

Datcha/Kabinet (Laurier and St Urbain Street, 5 minute walk from apartment)

Henrietta - Cool bar on Laurier (serves food), 5 minute walk from apt.

Casa Del Popolo - St Laurent Street and St. Joseph, terrace, 10 minute walk from apartment

Dieux de Ciel (Across the street from Datcha), St. Laurent and Laurier, Great beer made in-house

Snack and Blues (St Laurent and Fairmont), 10 minute walk from Dieux de Ciel. Pool table, serves snacks ;)

Prime Time - Real Dive Bar screening sports on large-screen TVs. Just down the street on St. Joseph and Park Avenue.

Atlantic (Mile Ex) - New, trendy bar / restaurant / snack bar on Park Avenue.

Cicchetti Bar (Mile Ex) - charming bar with patio


Great bagels at St Viateur Bagel or Fairmount Bagels (10 minute walk from apartment)


PA SUPERMARKETS (one at the end of our street on Park Avenue (closes at 10PM and another bigger one at Park Avenue and Fairmount (closes at 11PM)
