Ever wondered what it would be like to live like a hobbit under ground? Our little, earth covered fairy house is nice and toasty, sleeps 2 people (1 double bed).

Relax in our wood fired sauna & hot tub*, cook some pizza or fire up a BBQ in our outdoor kitchen area and toast some marshmallows on our firepits. There is a communal kitchen, toilet & shower units on site.

** Hot tub available on request, 1 hour slots available from 5pm to 11am. €20 charge

The space
Nested in the rolling hills of the central Mayo countryside it is the ideal location to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our hobbit huts are spacious and cosy with their green grass roofs, round windows and doors you will feel your in a different world. Sit outside and toast some marshmallows on the firepit, starglaze on a clear night, enjoy camping with all the comforts!

** Hot tub is for Adults only, There is 1 hour slots available from 5pm to 10pm There is a sub charge of €20 per hut per hour slot. times can be booked in advanced or on the day.

To use the pizza oven we supply timber. We Have pizzas on our shop for €9 each. you can bring a premade pizza or make your own.
Movie hall works via chromecast, download the home app to operate from your device.

Kitchen area is open all night, tea, coffee, cereals are available.

There is a toilet located near the huts and there is 2 shower and toilet blocks on site

we do not sell alcohol on site, BYO policy :)

Other things to note
wifi access available in the public areas such as the bar, sauna area. Each unit has electrical heating and power points. Bring warm clothing.

We are 5 minutes from the National Museum of Country life were you can also cycle or walk the Castlebar/Turlough Greenway. we are 25 minute drive to Westport or Ballina and 15 minutes from Foxford. there is a number of walking routes in the area with fantastic scenery
