Welcome to Tanbark Shores Guest House.

Our guests will enjoy a private studio suite in a detached building from the main residence. The shared spaces are the yard, driveway, and oceanview. The cottage has a kitchenette, spa-like shower, and privacy from our family home. We are four blocks from downtown Brookings, we offer an extremely comfortable, secure, and convenient place for you to come.

The space
The Pilot House Suite has two sleeping options: the bed can be made up as a King size or separated into two XL Twin Beds. We offer 50" HD cable TV and free WIFI. We offer a starter set of Coffee, creamer, tea, soda, bottles of water, but if you would like us to help get you started, we can do a bit of shopping for you or pick up your order from Fred Meyer via their Click-List.

A gated fence surrounds our home for ultimate privacy. We are currently growing wine grapes, and we have a beautiful garden to sit and enjoy. We have a miniature bocce ball court and of course the ocean view.

I love the littlest of detail, to help my guests have a quiet, restful stay. I spent 34 years in Bend, Oregon, raised in Milwaukie, Oregon. Scott and I met on (Website hidden by Airbnb) in 2013 and began searching for a Bnb to purchase. We settled on a home with a guest cottage in Brookings, because of the peacefulness of the area and the sheer beauty of the coastline. We strive to create a stay with us as a true get-a-way from life's fast-paced. Breathe in the ocean air and have that aah... moment.
