Very close to bantry town but far enough to be quiet. Very easy to find. Great hosts. Family friendly and unbelievably good value.

Everything is great about this place. Thomas and Sheila were easy to communicate with, friendly and had everything set up for my stay. The house is very clean and comfortable and is located in a very convenient location just a few minutes walk from shops and cafes. It has everything someone would need for a relaxing stay and I can fully recommend it to anyone heading to the Bantry area looking for a value for money and great quality.

Thomas and Sheila made us most welcome ... and the house was every bit as comfortable as the site promised. Little extras were to be found in the sitting room (e.g. fire logs), fridge (e.g. juice, milk, butter, etc), kitchen cupboards (e.g. tea, coffee, sugar, porridge, bread!), bathrooms (toiletries), ... and even a very nice bottle of wine! The house is well located in Bantry - within easy walking distance of all amenities, and with a friendly 'corner shop' across the carpark. Bantry itself, and the west Cork Literary festival, are well worth a visit. We did the Playwrighting workshop with Carmel Winters- despite never having written anything for the stage ... it was a fantastic experience, and a very memorable week.

We were welcomed by Thomas to his home in Bantry. The house was well presented, clean and some food items and a bottle of wine was left to get us on our way which was very kind. Great location 10mins walk from the centre of Bantry. There is a corner shop right beside the estate so that's very handy. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
