Great location
95% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Our cute 1950s beach shack was thoughtfully up-dated and decorated with a few quirks just for fun. All the comforts of home, including a well stocked games cupboard. A great space to settle in and un-plug; so many living areas to choose from and always a perfect nook, no matter what the weather is doing.
There’s a fireplace indoors and also a fire pit outside.
Just over the road is the bike path taking you along the Barwon River. A short ride to Hitchcock Ave -the main shopping strip.

The space
The Little Nook is nestled down a gravel drive way and can accommodate off street parking for around 2 cars. It is gated and fully fenced and is very quiet and private. Perfect for families with small children.

Where you’ll be

Barwon Heads, Victoria, Australia

Our property is located in a very quiet residential part of Barwon Heads. It is the perfect place for a relaxing family getaway or catch up with friends. It is important to note that the neighbouring houses are very close by, so we prioritise keeping noise and music at respectable levels.

Please, NO parties or events and no loud music, especially late at night. Our neighbours deserve to enjoy the quiet peace of their homes. Thank you in advance - this is very important to us.

Barwon Heads pretty much has it all when it comes to things to do. The river is just across the road for kayaking, fishing and walking along the board walk or riding the bike paths. The shopping is fantastic; we have a number of small boutiques, a specialty butcher, IGA supermarket, wine store, 2 fish & chip shops, various great cafés and restaurants, a pub, bakery, post-office, house-made gelateria and of course, a couple of great surf shops!

We are a couple with two daughters aged 14 and 16. We love city living, going out for coffees, meals, ice-creams and exploring the cityscape and sites; particularly on foot. We have a great appreciation for design, architecture, theatre and Art. We do also love to get away from it all from time to time and check out what nature has to offer. The beach is generally where we end up!
