My quirky farm cottage is available to you because I will be visiting my son in Phoenix USA.
Creat your adventure, nearby hiking trails, castles, traditional music, megalithic sites, horse riding, water sports, restaurant and trad' music. Within a 1 hr drive from, The Burren National park The Wild Atlantic way, Galway and Limerick cities. Shannon airport, Bunratty castle, Ennis and Lough Derg 30 mins. Connemara and Dingle can also be reached with an early morning start or do an overnight.

The space
The 300 year plus farm cottage is my home which I rent ocaisionally in summer to help fund its renovations. It was originally converted from a two roomed thatched cottage to a slate two story in the 1800's and many continuous renovations later we merge the old with the new. We have 2 double bedrooms, one upstairs the other below in the old section and a large bathroom and kitchen on other side of the house in the new. There is also a small bathroom with toilet and hand basin near the bedrooms.
Parking is at the front with quiet private garden at the back with garden furniture.
Internet and parking are free, the house is heated by a solid fuel wood burning stove with logs provided. Solar panels heat the water with electric back up. House manual, local information brochures, maps and walking trail books are in the kitchen.
The smaller 'Druid cottage' which is available to rent all year is directly beside and will be occupied by quiet and friendly guests during your stay.

A diverse place of artists, farmers and crafts people living on a scenic hillside among soft rolling hills, farms, lakes, castles, megalithic stones, clean air, spring water.
Organic vegetables, cheese, milk and eggs available at nearby farm.
Meet the friendly neighbours while out walking along the small country roads and in the pubs for Craic (fun) and music.
The cottage is midway between two small towns where you can grocery shop, have a pint with your dinner and the friendly locals love to hear a song.
