Complete new renovation of 150 year old cottage on edge of the Village. Located in the Galtee Knockmealdown valley , easy reach of many beautiful walks and trails. 8 miles to Mitchelstown, 12 miles to Cahir. Stunning Vee Valley drive on road to Lismore and it’s historic Castle, and to Mount Mellary. The stunning Mitchelstown Caves are just 2.5 Miles away. The breathtaking Waterford Greenway is only 40 minutes away, walk or cycle. Bicycles available from host. 3 pubs in the village.

The space
Spacious open plan with excellent natural light and 3 large bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms. Lovely views of the Galtees and the Knockmealdown mountains.

All areas are on the flat with no steps with wheelchair ramp to front door.

Other things to note
Ballyporeen is the ancestral home of Ronald Reagan and there is an interpretive center in the village with pictures of the historic visit in 1984.

Golf clubs, walks , trails, cycling, children’s playground only 100 meters. Excellent restaurants in Cahir, Mitchelstown, and The Convent restaurant in Clogheen must be booked well inadvance as is extremely popular.
